It's not free, you pay $25, and later down the road you have a CHANCE of getting $25 back.

If the rebate is paid by bestbuy itself, I would bet you that they will "forget" to send the mail in rebate docs with the software.

I have gotten many items from BestBuy and gotten All my MIR back with 4-6 weeks. If its the manufacturer MIR i have gotten 90% back but have to wait on average of 8 weeks. Its free if you have patience.

I too have received ALL my rebates from BB !
(and in a very timely manner :) )

If BB was not really good about their rebates , I would hardly ever go there for anything .

You should have no problems with the rebate.
