sorry dont mean to seam like tt fan boy but that is a really good fan read my other posts in other threads in this section. especially the "what do you all think of smt fn 2?" this is really a good fan and moves alot of air for the amount of noise it makes.

its a great fan, but i dont know if you will be able to overclock as far with it as with a non-temp controlled fan. thought about panaflo? there is going to be a tradeoff between cooling and noise. if you really want to overclock you will have a noisy air cooling setup. if you want quiet you will have a less overclocked system. if you want speed and quiet you might want to think about water cooling. although i would go with a panaflo or water cooling with panaflo fans on the radiator, the tt smart fan 2 is certinly a capable fan.

By "fan," do you mean heatsink? Anything new from thermalright with a quality fan from Panaflow, Delta, Sunon or YS Tech should work well. The Vantec Aeroflow heatsink/fan combo is also a nice unit.
