I want to buy a roll of the stuff, and tell other people where to buy it too, so no one has to get ripped off paying $2 for a tiny strip of tape.

I was told you could find it at hardware stores, but i couldn't find it, i even asked around, all i could find it the plumpers tape....

I've been looking around online but still haven't been able to find it.

Anyone else want to help me and others out?

you should be able to find teflon tape at any hardware store in the plumbing section. you can probably find it at an auto parts store too

u guys didn't read my post....

the teflon plumbers tape isn't near the same as the stuff they sell for mice. it's paper thin and wears off very easily.

He is looking for the "stuff" that is on the bottom of your mouse that allows it to slide across the pad easily.

I've not seen this stuff in stores. The closes thing I could think of to do is try to find something that you would move furniture with. That will be too thick tho..

Have you tried double sided tape, but, keep the one sticky side covered in the wax paper... actually, could you use wax paper? Adhere it by spraying adhesive on the back of the wax paper, cut it to size, then stick it to what you want?

Hope I was some help.

For anyone who finds thier meeces feet wearing out, Edmond Scientific has rolls of teflon low friction tape for a couple of bucks.

This was posted by RoadWarrior in General hardware's favorite mouse poll. Try to find their website.
It doesn't necessarily have to be teflon either. Most mice have Delrin mouseskates. It's a hard, but slippery nylon.
