I'm not saying that there are campers in DoD as well, but there seems to be a higher concentration of them in CS..

DoD, and camping is DoD is fine as long as you are holding a position, and not at your spawn doing nothing.

My favorite map is caen2 with avalanche in second and overlord third. Most of the other suck imo.

Yeah of course.. like you can't really do anything else with the MG in DoD ..

However when some people are camping with the sniperrifle in some place where they got because of a bug.. well.. woppiee..

They should fix the bugs in avalanche and it'd be perfect.. :) I usually play on Avalanche 24/7 servers :D

I like caen2 with avalanche in second the ramel and zafod in tied for 3rd. Game last MUCH longer then in cs. CS is ok if you want to play 5 minute rounds. in DOD you can play for an hour and sitll not have a victor! Nothing beats seaking up on someone and then taking out your shovel and smacking them in the head!

i like unreal and quake3 the best, but DOD is better than counterstrike IMO.

I like CS because more of my friends play it, and playing with friends is more fun than playing with strangers.

I really play neither very much, but DoD is more fun than CS to me. Of course, though, Natural Selection is the best.

CS servers aren't that hard to find for me, i just use Gametiger.net to find local servers (typing in nearby cities for server name) and many of the servers average out to be an alright challenge. There are even mods like WC3 Mod, which is Warcraft 3 ofcourse. It's pretty interesting and adds a nice unique rpg element to the game; although the Orcs are a bit overpowered.

I like them both, but I like DOD more. There's nowhere near as many lamers, and there's no awp. :p

I dont know why so many people hate the awp. I hate it too! :) but part of the game. Nothing can be done except admins disabling awp buying options.

Because of lamers that are either camping/cheating and the weapon is a one-shot - one kill weapon.. which means that even if they hit you in the pinky you're dead..

When some are spawn camping with that weapon it's really annoying..

Anyways.. I don't play CS anymore.. I've played it on and off though.. so some time I might pick it up again..

DoD is clearly my favourite though.

Havn't tried Day of Defeat. CS 1.6 is good.

All they need to do now is get rid of all the hackers, and the people who complain about good people being hackers. Maybe have new players run through a written test or something.. get them knowledgable about the environment first. "Hey, he's a hacker, he shot me through a box! kick him" "ya, kick the hacker, he headshotted me 4 rounds back!"
