geforce4 mx440 for battlefield1942?

can i play bf1942 with a geforce 440?
2ghz celeron 512mb ram system

You can. It'll be a bit choppy if you want to run at 1024x768 with high details. I tried it on the system in my sig with an MX440 @ 270/490 and it was pretty choppy. It got ~7000 in 3dmark2k1. You'll be fine if you turn down the res and the details though.

yuk. gfmx. You'll have to turn it way down to get anything playable.

It should be fine for BF1942, what happened to the Geforce3 though? that would be infinitely superior.

remember to turn down audio to low, this will help remove the jerking feeling. It did for me.

I still have the geforce3 works better then great for bf1942 at any reso but I built a 2ghz celery rig so I need a cheap v-card for that rig so I was thinking maybe the mx 440 or a old geforce2 gts or pro something like that cheap u know

Yep. My roommate has a GF2 Pro in his 1.2ghz Athlon and it plays it fine.
