OK heres the deal. I have a 2200+ just lying around, and I was going to give it to my friend for like 20 bucks.....I tryied to test it out in my second rig...which has a KR7A Raid MB....THing just wont even boot at all:mad: . There is a slight chip in the one corner of the cpu on the surface..think maybe thats it? When I took it out it was working...lol well give me your opinions...

My 1.2ghz tbird has a chip on TWO corners that came from installing an old thermalright hsf. The cpu works like it should on an az11 (yeah, its old). My xp1700 has chips along the outer edge of one side of the poli core. Still works as if it were new.

I didnt realize it, but I dont think the KR7A Raid supports the 2200+ only tbred up to 2000. Sucks...
