Here's what I have:
GA7VAXP - 2600+ - 512mb DDR - 2x80mb in RAID 0
WinXP Pro

I am unable to play videos of any type using any player. Audio is fine, no video at all. Quicktime or Media Player 9, both act the same. Has anyone ever seen this? Am I missing something? The driver is a month old, 6.14.1.6307.

its because you have to have your monitor as the primary display, go into screen properties(right click on desktop), settings>advanced> then pick the displays tab.
If your not using a TV screen then turn off the tv option. You should see something resembling this:.http://www.theforumisdown.com/uploadfiles/0103/AtiDisplay.JPG

hope this helps

That was the answer. Doh!
I build machines with integrated video, not real machines with real video cards like this one. All is well now.
Thank you Cheesy!
