I've noticed I've been having trouble booting with my 9700 pro and my power supply is an antec smart power 300w.Could the power supply be causing this problem? I also can't overclock my cpu with this video card installed. It boots and overclocks fine with my ti4200.And could I get a recommendation on a better power supply if this is what'sa going on?

It's possible you are using too much juice with this new card. This is one of the best ones possible, and it uses lots of power! I would recommend installing a 500-Watt and see if the problems still exist. If they do, then just return it :)

when I bought the same card it did say on the box that the card needed a minimum of 350 watt psu.
I'd say that you have too many devices drawing power. Look into a 400 - 450 Watt PS. That'll give you plenty of headroom.
I have the same issue with a 9500 Pro. My system is overclocked to 120fsb. It was fine with my Ti400, the only way to get it to work at 120 with the Radeon is to set my divider from 'fix' to 2/4. I don't think it is power supply- I have an Antec TruePower 430. The Radeon would boot at 100fsb.
Now I wonder if the fix option is actually working on my TH7IIR.
Weird.
