I/O voltage, What is it?

i just read some post talking about i/o votage and it helping registery errors. i think my processer has a real problem with cold starts does it affect that? i i/o voltage thing in the bios but could it be called vcc3 voltage? that option is have a abit vp6. i havent noticed any shown rigth under the cpu voltage. i Know i could probely figure it out from old posts, but im real short on time all of the sudden. could someone give me some knowledge. thank you

Yep, I/O voltage = vcc3. It should read in your voltage/temperature monitoring software as +3.3v

The default is 3.3v. It's the power your AGP/PCI/Memory devices get. Sometimes in overclocked systems, upping the I/O to 3.5v can cure stability problems.
