S3 Files Chapter 11

I'm not entirely sure if the S3 the article refers to is the same as http://www.s3graphics.com/index.html, but it does refer to them as a graphics chip company. Damn, I was looking forward to the Delta Chrome, too, to finally get some visual quality back into video cards.

I think it's SonicBlue that went C11, not S3, because as far as I know, S3's graphics assets went to Via.

You know, every company except ATI and nVidia are talking out of their ass these days (well actually they are talking out of their ass too but at least they make cards). Trident, S3, Matrox, Sis, you name it, if you ask them, they all have cards that are 9700 pro killers that are coming *very soon*. :D :D

*I* am coming out with a card very soon that will get you at least 50000+ 3DMarks in 3DMark 2003!! I have designed this card all by myself!! :D

The card is built on my 0.1u process, it uses GDDR-III clocked at 2Ghz, core clock speed is 1Ghz, it uses a 2048 bit bus, has a 32 pixel pipeline architecture with 8 texture units per pipe, has 16 vertex shaders and the card needs no fan OR heatsink for cooling!!

Also, the card is VERY overclockable and its performance ramps up almost vertically on graphs when you overclock it.

But that's not all. This card will not be hampered by a slow system as it will take over the functions of a CPU, transforming a slow ass P1 233MMX CPU into a 3.06Ghz Hyperthreading CPU or a Barton 3000+ CPU. :D

OK but I don't believe the existence of this card. You know why? It's because there is no such thing as IIIII in Roman numerals. GDDR IIIII would have to be GDDR V, not IIIII! :D :D
