P4PE questions?

Would this board be a decent upgrade on my current motherboard(see sig)? Also can this board produce some nice mem bandwidth? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the E model motherboard that you have and I decided to make the upgrade to the P4PE because of the better memory support. i was alway suprised that ASUS put the P4B533-E out that would only handle PC2100. But the newer board should do a little better with PC2700 in it I hear.
