P4-M shim?

hey all,
i have a p4 1.6 ghz-m processor (no die protector) and i need to know if someone makes a shim for mobile p4's or what is the risk of me cracking or chipping the core?

which hsf are you using? If it is an Alpha, you maynot need a shim... I did not.
