View Full Version : Sandra Memory Bandwidth Question
My memory bandwidth in Sandra 2003 is not as high as I would expect considering my specs below. I am curious if going to high on ram speed and timing could cause bandwidth to decrease due to memory errors?
*edit*
Here is a screen shot of my current setting and mem bandwidth.

LOL! As I said I was curious wheter or not setting the timings too high would cause the bandwidth to read lower due to memory errors. I don't see why pictures will help in a generic question but I will post them later tonight when I get home.

Actually those memory scores look about right to me.
Coolguy, I guess you would be getting pretty similar results. I've seen people aroudn here with well over 4,000mb/s with lower fsb so I was just curious.

Actually my scores are about 50 points below yours, and I'm running at Cas2, not 2.5. Benching is just something to do huh?....:)

The people going over 4k are probably running Granite Bay mobos.
Your scores look pretty good for your system.

Try setting your mem to cas2.5. my scores went up almost 50 points when I did that switch from cas2.
