8RGA+ and Hyperx PC3000

My setup:
AMD XP2100+ (AIUHB 0306) *STOCK*
Epox 8RGA+
2X Kingston HyperX pc3000
Koolance Water Cooling
Sparkle 350 W PSU
(Highest Temp Koolance Reading: 83F/28C)
(Highest Temp Epox Reading: 93F/37C)

13X166=2158 (GOOD)
13X167=2171 (GOOD)
13X170=2210 (BAD)
14X166=2324 (BAD)
10X180=1800 (BAD)

Default Vcore, Vdd, Vdimm.

My problem was when I hit 169 FSB my system would beep like crazy and it posted C1, which had something to do with memory. So I set the "Memory Frequency" to 50% of the FSB. Right now I'm at 180MHZ FSB and 90MHZ for memory. I belive my problem is the HYPERX PC3000.

Can Anyone tell me if they used HyperX and how high of an FSB did they get without changing the Memory Frequency??

If not I will have to return it back to NEWEGG.

before I make myself sound stupid...
Trying the multipliers lower then 13 was a dumb idea, because I didn't do the CPU mod.

But what's the reason for 13X170 not working??

sounds very similar to my friend with his zenith, his comp wont work at high fsb but will work low fsb with high multiplier.. his returning it.. quite wierd.. try reseating ur cpu, it helped him a bit

Since you have such good cooling you MUST RAISE your CPU voltage. I am currently running SK-7 with TT smartfan2
185X12... at 1.9 volts
Your cooling is even a bit better than mine so I wouldn't worry about your cpu

Epox 8RDA+

Almost forgot, I am using a Vantec Iceberg on north and southbridge at it let me run FSB higher than the stock Epox PASSIVE heatsink.. I don't know what heatsink comes withthe 8RGA but my new 8RGA comes on Wed. next week
