Whats the max k6 this mb holds

All i have is the motherboard, and right now i have a k6-2 533@400mhz in it. Any way to get it to 533?

Dunno for sure, but often a BIOS update will help. Find the newest BIOS file that you can download and see what it says it will support for CPU speds.

that motherboard/chipset ONLY support a 60 and 66MHz FSB.
so setting the multiplier on the CPU to 2x (K6-2 reads as 6x) is the only thing you can do.... and you have already done that.

if the board has any jumpers for 75FSB, that will give you a 450, and if you hvae 83 and your system can handle it, 500MHz.....

but odds are you will not have that option. OEM's just dont make great motherboards

Yeah, those boards back then usually only supported jumper or dip switch settings.
