Hey...
Recently purchased this mobo, and it POSTed fine. Before I can even get to o'cing, I thought I would take advantage of the Dual Channel DDR by placing my two memory sticks (detail below) in separate channels (DIMM1 and DIMM3), whcih is how it is explained on their site, as well as in the manual. However, when I reboot and go through POST, it details the accurate memory frequency, the amount of DDR, but next to Dual Channel - it states Single Channel 128-Bit?
Now, I am a sort of a noob, so I assume this means that my PC is not operating in Dual Channel? Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong?
CPU - P4 2.4bGhz (533 FSB)
Memory - 2 sticks of 256 MB PC2700 DDR - Crucial (CT3264Z335)
PSU - Antec 400W
Mobo Bios - Stock F5
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!
