is the ASUS P4C800 Canterwood mobo out?

It's not "Quite" out, but very soon....and according to Maximum PC it looks the 875P chipset could be a major winner for Intel and the new 800mhz fsb could well carry Intel into ther 4-6Ghz range with ease. Not too mention everything that has been incorporated into this chipset. The review of it in Max PC's newest issue is impressive if not damn near spectacular. Combine that with Intel's new "EUV" process to reduce transistor sizes by as much as ten fold means more goodies for us junkies to drool over. Intel strongly believes 10-15Ghz could be reached by the end of the decade.
But back to the 875P, the sucker is gonna ROCK! AGP 8x on an 800mhz fsb, better Gigabit Ethernet support via a direct 266MB/s port in the northbridge just for network data. The technology is called CSA (Communications Streaming Architecture), NATIVE Serial ATA support NOT through a controller plugged into a PCI slot, NATIVE soft RAID support. Instead of working with a seperate controller chip, the 875P lets you build or destroy a RAID 0 array ON THE FLY without an OS reinstall!!! OHMYFREAKINGAWD!!! And even better, you can use that good old 400mhz fsb Northwood in an mobo with it and upgrade later. Great for us budget upgraders who like to scavenge from the old box for the new.
And nevermind the "Tejas" chip, which by the way will break from the conventional PGA form factor in favor of "Socket T" and run on a 1066mhz fsb.... "NEHALEM" is coming in 2005!!! Now shake off the goosebumps and have a nice day! =) LOL

P4C800 hit retailers in France today as well as the ABIT i875 based mobo. And guess what,....I'm going to Paris tomorrow!!!
