Ive read some post in here today that said that the ABIT IT-7 boards where notorious for giving a false temp reading of +5°-10°c above actual. Does anyone know if this is also the case for the ABIT SR7-8X board as well. I just upgraded over the weekend. I replaced the OEM HP board and intel hsf with new ABIT SR7-8X and a ThermalTake volcano 7+ hsf. But, the temps didnt seem to go down much according to MBM5 between the standard HP board and intel hsf and the new.
