8mb and 2mb HDD's

What is the difference in performance between one with 8mb cache and 2mb cache? I am trying to pull off the Office Max deal using the 8mb version (wish me luck, it isn't going to happen) but I wonder if I can't make it work if I should just do the deal with the 2mb version or not. Please help, I don't know if it is worth it or not, thanks!

If you get a HDD with an 8meg cache, you will notice that it performs a whole lot better, and scores better in benchmarks... Loading times for almost everything will be reduced.

A 2meg cache HDD isn't bad, but if you can afford a HDD with an 8meg cache, then go for it!

my 2 8MB HDz on Raid 0. all I can say is FAST!!!!
