Hello I recently bought an ECS P4VXASD2+ (Bad idea :bang head) for the 2.4 P4 system I am building and I can't seem to get it working. Eery time I turn it on I just get the AMI BIOS beep codes in this sequence:

2 Short 8 Short 2 Short 1 Long/Short (I am not sure of the last one)

My current stats are
A nvidia Geforce 4 MX-440 SE 128mb (AGP 4x)
2 sticks of PNY 256mb 2100 DDR ram

the other stats don't matter as I can't even get the BIOS on the screen

I have replaced the ram because it looks like alot of the problems are ram related: that didn't help. I also checked and reset the jumpers over 4 times to no avail. The video card I have is the only thing I have not replaced/tested to see if my sysyem will work.

Can someone please help me with this problem, any help would be apreciated?

PS: Sorry this post isn't oc related but I plan to oc my system when I get it working
