can i overclock this??

ive heard that i cant, but maybe they were wong. i have a

intel 850e mobo
p4 2.533

can i overclock?

If based my answer on the assumption that he is using a intel mb. they have no options for overclocking at all...Now if he has a different mb that employs the 850e chipset, thats a different story.it depeds on who makes the board

Is this an Intel brand mobo or just an Intel 850 chipset? If it's truly an Intel brand mobo, then no it can't be overclocked. If it's a brand that has adjustable FSB settings in the BIOS, then yes you can overclock it.

its an intel mobo. not jsut the chipset. ah, well 2.533 is fast enough for now. till i get a new board that is
