I ordered my new video card from Newegg, it is an MSI G4Ti4200.
It arrived in an undamaged box, but the antistatic bag contained a small broken plastic part. It was the end of a plastic pin that mounts the HSF to the video card.
I e-mailed Newegg and MSI to ask for a replacement pin.
My hope was to avoid the postage costs and time involved in the RMA process.
Newegg responded promptly and told me I had a 1 year period to perform an RMA.
MSI responded after 24 hours by letting me know that they had shipped a replacement heatsink fan assembly with new pins.
New assembly arrived today as promised. Thank you MSI for making this a positive experience!
