can you touch your NB heatsink when you get teh chance as a favour .. esp. if your runing say 15% Overclock (150-160 fsb)

mine is very hot, and thats a zalman passive jobbie .... in fact at teh base its almost too hot to touch ....

anyone else teh same ?

Let's just say I wouldn't lick mine for fear my tongue would stick to it- like Jeff Daniel's tongue when he licked the ski-lift chair in Dumb and Dumber. :)

Just kidding- you really got to get a program like MBM5 to measure the temp man. Try a search for 8INXP and MBM5- make sure if you use MBM5 to check the box "Do not reset sensor chip".

Oooops- just noticed NB. Sorry!
My NB is definitely NOT hot to the touch. I've got the stock Gigabyte HSF on the NorthBridge.
