Newb here need help

I have 2 comps in my room and 2 downstairs the thing is I want to connect the ones in my room with wires and other 2 wireless what would i need to do?

Get a wireless router, most have 4ports on the back aswell. I have the FM114P (http://www.netgear.com/products/prod_details.asp?prodID=138&view=) by Netgear. Works great. Then all you need is wireless cards for the comps downstairs.
