Static during HDD activity?

In my box (the top one in the sig), when ever I have heavy HDD activity, I get some nasty static in my headphones. Anyone know what would fix me? A bad connection or bad ground somewhere?

Its probably more due to lack of sheilding on your headphone cable. Do you have high quality headphones? If not, perhaps now would be a good time to upgrade. And are you using cordless headphones? Because if you are, that's your problem.

So, yes.

But the cable leading from my box to my headphone amp is pretty crappy. I'll take that out of the line, and see what is up.
