lol, check out the web site from asus. You have 2 choice:
1. listen to asus guys
2. listen to me.

For the choice number 2 i would say you can run a 2500+ XP on it.

check out www.a7vtroubleshooting.com they have some good info on what chips will work with which board revisions. They also have links to bioses and you might find some info in their forums.

I'm pretty sure that the last offical bios 1009 added support for t-breds, not sure if A or B or both.
