Alpha8045 users, do you have to remove standoffs everytime you change the CPU?

On my KR7A-133R board, the standoff nut is so close to the socket it only allows the socket lever to move 1.5 mm to the side, so I can't unhitch it to remove the CPU. To remove the standoff, you need access to the backside of the board to unsrew the nut so you pretty much have to remove the board from the case.

Is this a problem with every motherboard an ALPHA8045 is used on? If so, what a pain!

i had i same prob but i just used a small screwdriver and pushed the leaver over a little bit while being carefull not to bust it! works fine for me
