can someone give us a quick overview on what a Peltier is

okay haveing to do an open evening for my college and im on the hardware stall me being the only one who knows anything about computers want to make my self sound like a smart arse in front of all the noob's out there

but.... i thing i dont know about is Peltier how dose a pelter work and what is a Peltier made up from ?

Lol, I would have thought at an open day the concept of a "hard drive" or "motherboard", let alone a peltier would be beyond most people

i know my plan is to go with my 14inch mohawk up they will think im stupid and the totaly confuze them with computer jargon and make my self sound extramly smart hehehe
