Higher ram frequency on IT7-Max2 V2 ?

I was wondering if theres any way at all to get my ram to run at higher speed than 200mhz ? Right now my retail Intel cooler isnt quite happy when my CPU is running above 160MHz FSB, and there my ram is limited to 200MHz with the 4/5 divider..

In the Bios set the boot strap to Low and the 3:4 divider will be available on the memory. I think its the #2 (hw boot strap) and #3 (?) options exposes 3:4. This is on the CPU section in the BIOS, first screen. That should give you 214.

You could also try some watercooling, instead of the intel stock hsf! Nice OC on the It7 "lbbo2002" in sig.!

Thanks dtadpole. I got lucky at Frys and got a great chip. The IT7 helps and of course I have been very lucky with the XMS LL. Only problem is the chip will do 187 but not the memory
