can 2 80 watt tec or 1 80 and 1 40 work on my truepower480 psu

If this helps i will be cooling them with chilled water on will be on a gpu and the other on my chipset.

I looked at the 85 watt pelt at becooling.safeshopper.com, and they would draw about 8 amps at 12v each, so 16amps for the two. I'm not positive of the current supplied on the 480 psu but I have the 430 and it can push out 20A, so the 480 should do more, maybe 25A I am guessing. I guess it would depend on the rest of your system (assuming that these two TEC's would go on your current system's power supply with everything else hooked into it).

I would say that if the 480 psu can push out 30A on the 12v rail you should be ok with 2 80w TECs. Any less current than that and you would have to go with an 80w and a 40w.

you´d have to consider the wattge that the rest of you components have .
