My friend is looking for a good place to buy a computer for himself for school. HE doesnt want to build it and i dont want to do it for him for some reasons. I know where to get components, but a whole system i really dont know. I would like some suggestions on where to get one.

He wants:
AMD XP1600 or greater
256-512 DDR
40-80 Gig harddrive
CDRW
Modem, LAN, Sound
he said like $600

thanks

www.newegg.com is a good one:D really good service and low prices:D

er... wait does he want a whole computer? if so i dont really know.. maybe he could just get one from devi- i mean hel- no dell if he wants a pre build one. lol

Show him an Alienware or falcon northwest and see if he decides it would be much more cost effective to build himself :D but if he's rolling in cash they're good systems.
