Yeh , sometimes I can really suck !!! lol

VERY VERY nice job on 189FSB
Everthing stable I take it ?
If so ... go for more ; heh heh :D

Thats the kinda stuff I wanta see on my IC7 and "Z" chip .

just a thought.....

AZN said to me "this chip will do 185fsb at default voltage on the asus mobo he has...."
he said "it was not stable at 190fsb nomatter what voltage"

after five hrs or prime95 I said f it.....190fsb here we come.
now testing at 190fsb 1.664v real.

you know what I think?

asus has a great bios to work with, but what ever they use for voltages stink......
my P4PE was just like his asus GB mobo.
overvolts by 0.1, yet once you put a full lode on it, it drops too much.

abit has the goods....voltage only drops a little at idle and dosn't go down much at lode eather....my 3.3 ,5 , and 12 volt rails are a lot better on this IC7 too...just like my old abit TH7.

I may never go back to asus.

look here for any updates on my new system.

good luck to you and yours

Yup ,

A m/boards PS (onboard Phase circuit) have a great deal to with a good OC thats for sure .

The 3 Phase power circuit such as on my IT7 were a very good improvement and pretty steady.

But now with the brand new Abit boards having a 4 Phase power circuit , things just KICK ARSE in OC'ing with a almost a constant steady flow of power at all levels .
Thats why the darn Abit BH7 does so darn good in OC'ing , and now the IC series follows in the same tradition with a 4 Phase power cuicuitry .
This is a good part of the reason I wanted to go with Abit .
That 4 Phase circuit will do wonders for high OCing and stability.

I'll check out your link , with great anticIpation of any of your futher IC7 results .

Only 1 comes with the IC7-G .

None come with the IC7 .
