Won't work with two identical ram sticks

I just received another xms 256 pc3200 ram stick identical to the one in my sig. My system seems to freeze at the a7v333 startup screen when I use both ram sticks at the same time. Sometimes I can get into cmos, but when I save and restart It freezes again. I tried setting my fsb at default 133mhz and still the same. I also tried each ram stick individually and in dimm slot 2 and it works fine as long as one stick is in the system at a time. Anyone know what the problem could be?

I loaded defaults in the bios and everything seems to work now. Don't know why that is.
