Duron 800@945 (105*9 / 1,8)
Abit KT7 Raid
HDD IBM 30Go / 7200 / Udma100
2*128 Sdram PC133
Heatsink : Titan (5500)
3D Prophet 2MX (oem)
250W Power
When i try to increase the FSB, i can get into windows but 10 mins after i started a game, the entire system just freezes !! (even with those voltages : 1,85/3,6)
And when i try to increase the multiplier (9,5*105 = 1000) windows won't boot (erros system...).
What can i do to get the GIG ??!!
Also my score in 3d mark2000 is 4154, is it normal ? Can i get a better score ?
Bullet.

I make no garuntees but a bigger name brand 300 watt athlon approved power supply may make all the difference. What kind of temperatures are you getting also? That can play a big role.

My 800 hit 1G with no problems.I just set the multipliers 10*100,left the voltage default 1.6. When i try messing with bus speeds then i have problems. My HSF sucks!!My temp.runs about 46*idle 50*load.When i get a new HSF then i will play with FSB,voltages, and such. Good Luck!!!
Well I"m not sure if this would be you're problem, but it was for me.... I have the same Mobo as you and I needed it a patch that fixed my AGP. I was getting scores of 2000 and when I applyed the patch now I hit 6000 eventhough is not great for a 950mhz but I can live with that.
I have the patch but I don't really know where you can get it of the internet but i can prolly email it to you! just send me an email and I'll reply to you with the patch.
by the way the patch is from VIA
whaterver just email me if you want to try it out

What core voltage you running?
What cooler?
What are your temps?
What Memory do you have?
what are your bios settings?
ECT............................
I cannot get my Duron 700 to go past 945mhz either, that is the max. I have the Abit KT7 running at 9 x 105mhz, any higher results in a lock up no matter the voltage or heatsink I use. I tried lower a 8.0 and 8.5 multiplier with higher FSB's to no avail, 9x105 is it. My 3dMark2000 scores are in the 4000's under Windows2000, and high 6000 to low 7000's in Windows 98SE with my GeForce 2 GTS, no overclock on the card, you failed to mention which OS you use is why i put both scores up. With my Tbird running at 1050mhz my 3dmark score is 7490. I think the Duron is maxed out. I have noticed that people are getting higher speeds with the Asus A7V, but I like the ease in use of the Abit KT7's options.

You will get higher speeds on the A7V. In a direct comparison of 2 Duron processors I had, both ran 50 MHz faster on the A7V. But, like you said, you like the KT7's features, so...
Make sure you use the latest VIA 4in1 drivers for better 3DMarks

4.20 run best on my A7V
Yeah, I'm 99.9% sure the power supply is what was holding you back. I have the same situation, those geforce's guzzle a lot of power.
I'm waiting for my 300watt p/s which should arrive any day now.

Bullet. As said by others, I think your PSU will make a difference. Also try burning it in a little. :)

Thx for ur help guys !
with my new power supply (300W), i reached the gig :) , 10*101 = 1010 !!
But i'm stuck there now... Do u think i can go higher and how ? My temp are : CPU 27C / 40C on load, Board 20C.
System hangs up when i try to increase fsb or multiplier.
the voltage is 1,85 if i could go higher i think it would work...
for my 3Dmark score i got up to 5600 (205/210) , is this a right score for a geforce 2MX ??
I'm using Windows98.
Bullet.
