Tyan 9700pro

my favorite local store has the tyan 9700pro in stock, but no other 9700pros. anyone have any experience with this card?

Like it? Hate it?

Any feedback before i lay down 325+ on it greatly appreciated!:)

I don't know a lot about the card but from what Ive read it has software temp monitoring and is a good overclocker.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY IT, not all Tyan 9700pros have it, if the box doesnt say it does then it doesn't. Many people assumed they all have it when the truth is they don't.

the only 9700 Pro's that didn't have the hardware monitoring software are the initial shipment that went to reviewers and such...all of the 9700 Pro's from Tyan have hardware monitoring now.

From a friend's Tyan 9700Pro, he was able to get some insane OC's with a new HSF on the vid card. He got 395/730. That is insane, I was going nuts when I saw his 3DMark 2K1 and 03 scores.
