i would say so. compare it with newegg or googlegear. If not good, at least really competitive.
hmm.. haha good idea.. both say 94.00$ and this is a frys only rebate from what im reading.. so i guess thats not too shabby.
thanks :)

I would wait if you could, you can find some really good deals time to time. I Have seen 80 gigs go for 50 dollars and lower after rebates.
are they 8mb cache drives though?
the best buy one was 59.99 but 2mb cache

at the online store....officemax.com, this is the product # WD800JBRTL
8mb cache is the 800jb model if I'm not mistaken.
do a search for western digital....bang, you'll see the online price and the rebates.
or LOOK (http://dealmac.com/articles/50816.html)

If it's a Fry's rebate, you might as well kiss that rebate goodbye.
You'll never see it.

its from WD but it specifies 'frys only' in the text..
I am STILL waiting on over $400 from Fry's, from purchases last march/april.

I would rather pay an extra 20 bucks to not have rebates then to save 40 extra bucks in rebates.

See here (http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/product/prodBlock.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&expansionOID=-536879914&prodBlockOID=536959933) 39.99 after rebates.
For hard drives, I usually think a good deal is when you pay about $.60 a gig.

Oh yeah, infact i'd buy a good quantity of them, and resell them on eBay.
Good find,

I did the math...and it's $59.99 as I quoted.

well that makes me feel alright then.. i paid like ten bucks more.. no big deal..
Well I got a 80 gig 8mb cache from office max for 59 pluz tax. Due to the fact they didn't have anymore 2mb cache left and they said that the rebate would still be good.
