Hey all

I had my Duron700@1ghz@1.92 running with rock solid(it would run seti for days) for 2 months.

Heres my stats:
Duron 700
Abit KT7 No raid
Pep66 w/ delta 38cfm
Geforce2 MX
SB128 4channel (i know I know)
CPU idles at 17c above ambient

Last week I was putting in some leds to spruce up the inside, and to make a long story short somehow win2k got corrupted. So-I reinstalled win2k and have had problems ever since.
I've tried everything i can think of, I finally upgraded to 256mb pc-133 micron Ram, reformatted my hd. got all the new via and nvidia drivers.
I've tried 10*100, 9.5*105, 9.0*110,
It will post and make windows with all of these, but then it bluescreens. anything over 1.05ghz i get a "bios checksum error" any idea what this is?
the highest i've managed to get running is 980(9.5*103) but this is still shaky.

help me guys, I want my ghz and more back.

the power supply is your problem

I doubt it your power supply, as long as it's the same one you were using before when you had over a gig and stable.

You need to run at least a 300W PSU, I'm new to the AMD scene but from pouring over many forums, NG, reviews and articles, it seems everyone that had been having problems with their system using underrated PSU's corrected the problem most of the time with an upgrade.

I agree, I used to build those things for a living beofre I started doing tech support, go with teh 300W Power supply, that thing sucks alot of juice when you force it higher.
