Not bad, but not great either. Using 1.1 Bios.

I just read over at HardOCP that they only got their 2.4 to 3.5 but on watercooling at 1.7v. I'm running at default between 1.488 and 1.5v.

No matter how much more voltage I give it, it won't run any higher. I've tried as high as 1.7v, but it won't hold Windows at 257mhz FSB. It pretty much hits the brick wall at 256mhz FSB.

I'm not sure if its the motherboard or really the CPU. I tried SoftFSB and got it stable at 256mhz FSB, but not at 257mhz.

I'm content for now.

I think I need to get me a real overclocking P4 motherboard.
This DFI LAN Party looks killer, has lots of features, but doesn't
overclock for beans.

I'm hoping the BIOS that the R&D promised me will have some
overclocking features, otherwise this thing is going back!

Good overclock man! I can't wait to get me an 800FSB

Sweet bro! So...you got your pc3500 to run at 255mhz? Wow! Very nice...I assume that it is at 1:1 on the cpu/mem ratio?

Krag,

Look at the CPU-Z memory score.

It's 408 mhz at 2-3-3-5 @ 2.6v

5:4 ratio is used.

This highest I could get this memory to run was 460mhz @ 2.8v 2-3-3-6 settings.

I'm still not sure if I'm happy or disappointed.

Great OC :) I'm split minded between a 2.4 and 2.6 right now.

If ya don't mind me asking, where'd ya get your PC3500 CH-5 sticks from? I've only found em is here (http://www.hardcorecooling.us/product.asp?0=200&1=201&3=407). Apparently these 0.13micron chips can clock quite far - comfortable at the 250/500 mark :)

I got the CPU from computerclubhouse.com. It looks like they still have 4 - 2.4's 800 in stock and 1 - 2.8 800 in stock. No 2.6s.

Can you run some benchies with a 1:1 ratio? (as high as you can get it) I want to find out the difference between sync and async, so I can decide on a CPU. Thanks.
