It's weird, to say the least. But you have to admit, those Mini-ITX mobos are fun as hell for these projects. I'm working on an NES, myself.

I agree he needs some credit, but still, that is a lot of time invested. I hope he takes it around to shows or something. Who knows, maybe he is an art major too.

i find it interesting to note that the creator (? only an assumption) has blurred pixelated his face in the one image...

also i don't desire to know how to turn her on

Are you guys Nutz?!? Too much time on his hands, look whos talking!!!
jeez...he took a Hobby(computers) and mixed it w/ Art(modeling/sculpting) and made a beautiful piece of art. I mean would you guys say Picaso or Rembrant or any other artist has too much time....of course, but it is art! I would pay for a computer like that...and so would a lot of other people..I bet he makes money making those..and if he does'nt he should.
I am just surprised at how many of you think this guy is wasting time w/ his creativity...KUDOS to the man!!! You have Been Owned and u know it!

Wolfe
05-08-03, 05:59 PM
i agree with Puer Aeternus in that i dont think he has too much time. First, it looks like it was created for some sort of expo, and second, art comes in all forms, if if the computer was removed from it, and then you saw it, would you still think he has too much free time?

I want one too :)

Needs more hard drive space :)

Call me non-creative, un-worldly or whatever, I just think the whole thing is a pathetic and strange. But really who cares what you or I think, more power to the artists if they can sell that thing for big $$$ to some pretentious, whacked out art aficionado.

did everyone say the guy who made a mech in his back yard say he had too much time? i didnt think so... but.. whatever....

How much free time do u devote to your Computer...I bet other people think you have too much free time to spend it all on Overclocking and games or whatever we do w/ our computers..my point is:
LIVE IN A GLASS HOUSE...DONT THROW ROCKS

edit:I am kinda dissapointed that we as Overclockers would not throw more appreciation to a real cool MOD like that...and remember, anime or manga or whatever that cartoony stuff is, is a big hit in Japan.

Damn right! That guy did some sweet work and it is truly a work of art, just look at the detail in the face and the overall creativeness I don't think I could have built it and it 100% original

It's original, and very well done. :)

I mean, you have to give the guy some props. Rather than just buying an Antec clone, or a Lian-Li, cutting a hole in the side and adding some lights and other pretty things like most of us are guilty of (including yours truly), he's gone and done something that's completely original (I know I've never seen anything quite like it), and pro'lly had a lot of fun doing it, too :)

Upgrade path;

Bigger hard drive, or silicone implants??

More SDRAM, or collagen lip injection??

Decisions, decisions.... :p

I wouldn't want one, but that is ingenious. There's a ton more thought and design in that than my case (see sig links). Credit where credit is due....creativity bordering on genius.

My $.02

All the "He needs a life" comments aren't only uncalled for, they're downright rude. Especially considering where you're posting them.

That's a sterling example of creativity and dedication. I wouldn't have the patience to be able to do that. Truly badass.

Well I'm sorry if I seemed rude, but I just don't like the case. I'll give him credit that it's unique and that I couldn't do something like that, but I just don't like it.

Same thing for the Gundam case (and yes I like Gundam).

I'd rather have a case that looked like an Evangelion. I don't like the clunkiness of Gundams. :p
