USB prob.

ok. i have a a7n266 running windows 2k pro.
and this only happens in win2k. but
when i put with something connected to the usb turn on the computer would freeze.. but if i turn on something later after it has been booted it would work fine..
whats wrong?
any help appreciated.

Sounds like it might be a problem with your motherboard

Do you have all the service packs installed and all the updates loaded from windowsupdate?

Why would it be his motherboard when it only happens in Win2k? Sounds like a problem with Win2k to me.
