I'm trying to overclock a Tbird 700. Most people has been getting for 900 to 950 with the chip. Where should I set my voltages at? My L1 is connected.
Thanks

You should be fine at 100x8 at 1.85 to start, id move up from there. I see no reason to be afraid of the measly .1 extra volt available, everyone is using it and its a real hinderance because its such a baby step, but it is good for some extra speed. You do have a good cooler right? If your temps are in the 50C range I'd get a better heatsink before you delve to far into overclocking, going from a big 60mm generic HSF to my global win FOP38 dropped the temps 10C and made my overclock more stable.

Thanks for the info mike. I'm useing the super orb but thinking about changing to the fop.

If you care about NOISE, I'd greatly discourage you from buying the FOP (or the SORB for that matter). An Alpha PEP66/PAL6035 work better and can (depending on the fan) also be much quieter.
And, believe me, that .1 extra volts can help a LOT. The 1.85v setting actually runs over 1.90v anyway, according to motherboard monitor.

the highest I've had my tbird 700 is right around 915, @1.85V. of couse, that wasn't stable at all.... its only stable once I get down around 860 or so...
I wouldn't be afraid about raising the voltage to the max.
good luck!
