I have a Tbird 800, KT7-Raid, Kingmax 256 PC150, Alpha Pep66 cooling. The best i've achieved is only 876Mhz. Anything higher either locks up, screen goes blank, ect.. Can anyone help me with my setup. Thanks

Hey richa

Have you unlocked your tbird by connecting the L1 bridges using the pencil trick? if so are you ocing with the multiplier or the fsb? and what voltage are you running at?

let us know so we can help

unlocked L1 before install. i've been trying all combos with fsb and multiplier, also increased the voltage to 1.80. i reached 995Mhz, but it locked up before i got to the 'windows' screen. i can still only get to 876Mhz, as we speak.

Hey richa

Try bumping the voltage to 1.85, your pep66 can easily handle that. See how far you can get with taht extra bit of voltage.

Westy-

To you unlock your amd cpu(duron or tbird) you have to connect all of the seperate L1 bridges on your cpu. Dont connect them all to eath other, but just connect the seperate tiny little bridges. If you need a better explaination then post again and i'll post pics.

I have found that adjusting the FSB makes my system unstable no matter if it is just a few mhz. So I adjust mostly with the multiplier. You should get to atleast 900-950 that way. And I agree with the previous statement made. Take your voltage to 1.85.

Cheers Cullen,
Pics and/or links for more information would be helpful...
