View Full Version : Nearly outproducing HardOCP!
Statsman stats just now say that our day total is 41.5k approx, and HardOCP's is 42.5k.
OCAU are moving away fast, but if we can ramp up just a little, we will be gaining on HardOCP!
Fold! :D

I'm doing my best, but I just lost a WU (75% done) when I tried browsing my HDD:( (It folds fine, but I think the MOBO is bad).
I should get 2 MOBO's tomorrow (used), so I should be able to cranck up at least 1 CPU (the one that's in my P3V4X, which is running hot due to the bridge, which I need for stability).
If I could only find some RAM I might have another puny (PII 300 @ 2.5x147 orso) rig up soon (got all parts, except the RAM).
I'll probably get another CPU (1.10A) and some RAM next month, so I should be putting out ~700+ PPW:)
**EDIT** Make that 800+ PPW, as right now I'm close to 600 PPW.
Keep up the good work, we are almost there.
True we are podrucing about eh same as [H] but at the moment they are still a far way away from our sights. OCAU is what we need to outproduce as they are in out sights in terms of overall production, just the fact that the are currently outproducing us by 10k a day means they are starting to pull away rfom us again, we need more borging and recruting if we are gonna get those aussies soon otherwise they total production is going to be too much of a gap for us to close again:(

Give xsquared_uk's rigs time to kick in and we might tip the scales :)

I'm trying. I have cpus that need MBs and MBs that need CPUs.
Hmmmm, wonder if I could get a Duron to work in a socket 370.lol

I'm replacing cpu's trying to get all of my rigs above 2.0 stock voltage, and got my first Nf2 mobo. This new core and client thing plus a recent thunderstorm have set me back but the elusive 2,000ppw+ is around the corner.
Have troubleshot my lockup problem to the Abit KR7A boards. They are the only ones showing this pause and resume when connected thing. They've got to go. I have two KD7-E boards but have to find power supplies that they like (got the no boot problem). That board is a great overclocker if you can get the right power combination. Lots of OC options in the bios.
Well that's my plan of attack. C'mon team we've got a lot of untapped potiential out there. Need some parts to get you producing more? Sing out. There are a lot of loose parts out there. You just need to ask.

According to the last update, we are outproducing [H]:
1 [H]ardOCP 769 4,255 44,711.88 314,203.97 6,596,278.50 1,093,470
2 Overclockers Australia 695 3,334 52,953.42 328,322.09 5,009,508.00 863,571
3 www.overclockers.com 705 2,939 44,908.12 287,010.12 4,623,678.50 673,092
but we are still a long ways behind OCAU. I just convinced a friend with a p4 1.9 to fold part-time, and i might be getting a friend with a 1800+@1800 to fold part-time as well. Im also hoping to add a 2100+ sometime soon...

Good work you guys, ramp till it hurts and put the pressure on the [H]orde to match our production increases.
71 points will be in within an hour or two :D
The [H]orde dont seem to have realised that Oc.com are catching them as well as OCAU :P

I think we have more members than [H] now, so they won't be able to pull up their folding power much :)
OCAU is a different kettle of fish...
BTW, 76 points will be uploaded soon :D

Hey! What are you doing on the internet so early on a Saturday morning :P j/k
As for the [H], I dont think they will sit still. They will pull power from other DC projects and try and regain their lead. We need to keep ramping up as much as possible, so that when the [H] ramp, we dont get left behind.
Build, Borg, Recruit.

Does the [H]'s forum stats include all the seventy-thousand banned members  :D
I'm sure we can pull it off. Its not just about number of members, its what those members have. There may be some members with PIII/500s folding, and other members (like our Wedo and nikhsub :)) who borg every machine in sight :D.

Ah, but to view the OCAU forums you have to be a member. I'm not sure how much that ckews it, but yeah you have a few members :)
As soon as I get one of my motherboards back from RMA, I'll have another 1333 mhz. I just got my main rig back up from RMA.

Whats wrong with PIII @ 500Mhz! I have one folding! Its been doing the same WU since Feb! lol! And its still done nothing of it! lol! I think its time that it stopped folding! lol!
Hmm... I don't think you'll catch us ;) We just outproduced you again, and relic just added 4 XP's, 30GHz to come.

Hehe, true.
We just got a butt-load of computers folding for Team 32, but only for the weekend. After that it's going to be close, but with [H]'s massive lead it's going to take a lot of time.
Good luck with your borging and folding Yamaki, hope you don't get banned and end up here :)

three weeks ago OCAU was within reach. i think we should still focus on them and let [H] slip away.

Any member who folds is doing a lot more than 'not much'.
If it wasnt for the hundreds of folders using only one or two rigs then our folding power would be a LOT less.
Even members with 500MHz machines: every unit you fold is worth its weight in gold :D Hey that rhymes. I'm a poet and I didnt even know it :D.
