View Full Version : What speed can you achieve with a Tbird 800 & KT7-RAID?

Greetings,

I am just curious to know what speed you guys have been achieved with a Tbird 800 and a KT7-RAID. What is your settings in your BIOS in order to reach your speed. Any recommendaton and feedback is greatly appreciated.

I would say about 900-950 with 1.85v with just changing the multiplier. Alitte more if you adjust your FSB, but be careful and check stability when doing this cause the T-birds don't like much change to the FSB, about an increase of 5 is about all she can take. And also make sure you have atleast a 300w PSU, or else you may have some problems. Just keep the CPU and the case cool and have fun.

Mine ran at 990 mHz with 1.85 volts until my PEP66 clip failed. Note that this bird was stable for two months using the stock Cooler Master heat sink with an 80 mm fan and a reducer duct made from a 24 oz Budweiser can. I should also point out that this KT7-R showed 1.92 volts with WCPUID when set at 1.85 volts in the bios. My current KT7-R peaks at 1.85 volts.
