View Full Version : RED Thunderbird Core??
Ok, I've heard of the blue and green T-bird cores, but someone tell me about the RED core!!! I just got a T-bird 800, and the core undoubtedly a beautiful red. Where are these from? What's the difference? Everyone's calling me crazy, but the thing is RED. It's not PURPLE by any stretch, and it's sure as hell not blue. Help me out.
And what is that little symbol I used for this Post? Looks like an erect blue penis to me. That thought troubles me. I used it anyway...

I have a k6-III that when I decapitated it, the core was covered in red stuff.
The top of the core, where it says AMD Athlon and has the numbers and thangs ... That is the red part. It's not red 'stuff'. lol
I'm gonna have to take a picture, aren't I? *sigh* It's red.

Yeah yeah yeah ... *finger* Heh.
Seriously ... I'll take some shots of it this weekend. Then you can tell me if it looks red. I've seen pics of the green and blue t-birds, and it don't be lookin liked dat.
I'd be making fun of me too if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, believe me.

I hope you are a lucky man. The red ones are supposed to be the worst at overclocking - by far. May you beat the odds.
