Im starting this thread just to see how other 2100pali owners are doing o/c wise. and to compare against mine.
I am 1876mhz kinda unstable, 1.85v, 51° load

wow! not many pali owners. I can see why. I kinda like having a pali though, bacuse on those chilly 30°F days, my room is nice toasty warm.
Amd must not have used chickens when designing it :D

I never owned a 2100...but my 2000 AGIOA could run up to 1930 at 2.2v's...and do like I did and use that below freezing weather during the winter to cool your system...
ADDED: If you would like to see what I did, I can post a crude diagram of what I did...
If it helps, I've got a 1900 Palomino @1768 mhz and 1.85v (it's 1600 default) using an SLK800 and a YSTech fan. It'll go a bit higher, but not stably.
And yeah, it's pretty toasty down here in my basement :P

I had my 1800 pal (base of 1.15 ghz) up to 1.69 but it wasn't too stable so I have it at around 1.6 now 1.85 vcore very stable

No it's an old chip or something. When I got the chip it was at 1.15 ghz at 100fsb but I have it at 140 fsb now with 1.85 Vcore clocked at about 1.6 ghz

My temp is 40 C and about 44 C max

I had my 1600+ (1.4ghz) up to 1.6ghz once, but it would'nt even stay stable there. I think it must really have been one of the worst palominos ever made...
Have my 2100+ pally in my server, best it could ever do stabily was like 142*13 (1846MHz), have it running stock now, for obvious reasons..

same here GT2000, mine could only run stable at 1846.
Yeah, but I was sooo happy with that chip, considering I had jumped from a 1GHz Athlon...
But I agree with the rest of the 2500+ owners out there, this chip is just awesome!

Thats it. 13x140 = 1820 mhz. Its a dual setup, and I was happy with that.
I am now trying to get 2 t-breds 1700+s to run at 2.3 ghz. So far, so good. But I've only had one running at that speed so far - tonight its to try to get 2 to do it at the same time
:)
I should definetely have read these forums before I started dinking with OCs. I wasted a bunch of $$ on Pallys...
Anybody want two xp2100 Palomino core CPUs (if I can get my xp1700s to run in dual mode...)?
(More details in the SMP forum...)

the pali or 2500? a 1700 can go faster than a 2500 i think.
I will have some comin from an RMA I hope

You had it running at the wrong FSB the 1800+ runs at 133MHz Bus and a 11.5 multiplier which equals 1.53 GHz. You had it at 100 FSB and 11.5 multiplier and that equals 1.15GHz.
Have not had a 2100+ yet (I say "yet" because as I type this one that I won in the Folding drawing in coming :D)
I had a 1600+ Green AGOIA "9" running at 1.82 and 2v
and a 1600+ Brown AGKGA that on a good day would pull 1.5  But as being a early stepping it is understandable.

thanks mr. T, so what you're saying is that when alienware sent me my system they sent me a chip that was underclocked?

I run my locked 1800 Pally at 1700. :) With 1.85 volts. Stays around 43c loaded. :) I need a better case with better air flow. My unlocked 2000 Pally runs at 1900. :) With 2v. Temps never go above 39c. The 2100 should do a little better.

No what he was saying is...they sent you the system with the memory jumper in the wrong place...instead of it being shorted at 133Mhz...it is shorted at 100Mhz...that is why it gives you 11.5x100 instead of 11.5x133 like it should...Just find the jumper that controls that and switch it to the other side...
