Nothing any time soon, but i'm already sick of the nado fan i got lol, and the temps arent all that impresive in my opinion...

you think $200 will get me what i need pump wise, a block for my cpu and maybe my gpu?

pump you can attain for 50

Block for 70 or so when dtek WW comes out

You can find a heatercore froma junkyard for around 0-15 bucks

Tubing and clamps should set u back bout 15

and you can buy a nice block for your GPU for 30-50 bucks

And this is overestimating in some cases just a bit

Read in the watercooling section and you see a lot of people using heatercores from cars for their cheapnes and sometimes even better performens.
They are usualy bigger though so you should consider that too.

fishtank pumps are "real" pumps... but get a well known brand such as (dont go by my spelling- i spell how i read- wrong lol) ehiem, iwaki, Via (only if submerged), or this other M one i forget..

a heatercore you can get for cheap- you oculd pull one from a junkyard

for tubing you can just use cheap stuff from a hardware store or get soem nice stuff like tygon...

WB is kinda important, dont skimp on it:D

Yes. Any model that pumps at least an 300GPH rating with 220 cm worth of max head should be enough for cooling a PC.

www.petsmart.com has some Danner pumps...but if i were you i would just get a cheapo VIA 1300 and submerge it.

$200 is plenty for a w/c setup. I did mine for ~$140, and still bought something I won't end up using (PCI relay- lets your pump start with PC power switch) that was $30. So, figure $110 without a GPU block.

I went to the local home depot here and purchased a 500gph pond master magnetic pond pump from 39.95 just some info. Its been running for a year now non stop with no failures. Quite and reliable.

eh?

I built my WC system for just under $80. I will give you a run down of what i used.

Pump-Maxijett 1200 (295gph). The pump cost me $23 shipped and it has been running 24 hours a day for the pas 3.5 years with out a problem.

Rad.-I picked up a heater core from the local junkyard for $10. I bleive its from a 89 el camino but i don't remeber.

Block-I dunno why on eath you would pay $70 for a water block, like was earlier mentioned. I bout a B&E Cooling Jagged edge weater block for $34 shipped. I opted to build my own hold down rather than pay $10 more for one. Looking back on it, i wish i would have bought the hold, it would have saved me some headachs.

Resivor.- A 4x4x4 Underground Electric box container from lowes or Home depot. $10.

I got the hose from Lowes also and the brass fittings for the heatercore. I used jb weld to stick the fittings into the heater core. That setup got me temps of 33 load. When i first got into there was a review on the front page that i followed that helped me out trmendously this one http://www.overclockers.com/tips505

I have sinced change my setup and am using a differnt block, but everything else is the same. Everything runs great. I do still have the BE block, if you would like send me a pm and im sure we can work something out.

I shall make u envious.

Wb, homemade, copper cost 5 dollars.

Pump, found it in my garage, it was given to us when our pool pump failed. It was replaced by an even bigger pool pump. 100 dollars to buy, or more.

Heatercore, Found it in my backyard and put barbs on it.

Tubing, Hacked apart a fishtank cleaner hose, Stuff is great.

clamps, found in my basement

fans, i went to the scrap metal yard to get some more copper and got talkin with the guy there and he said i could sift through the many bins of old 266 school comps and get fans, i got 5 and going back for more

barbs+pump adapter cost 20 bucks....lol the most expensive part, i think im gonna lathe my own next time.

So wuts that? 25...haha

the cost would be nothing. If you want to get wet just throw some water in there and your set. j/k

You will probably spend about 100 to 200 dollars its depends on how much you want to do on your own.

You can build a above average setup for under $100... usually less. And it'll kick any kit that is available today.

DangerDen Maze3 Waterblock - $40
MaxiJet Pump - $20
Heatercore - shouldn't be more than $20
Tubing, Fan, misc. stuff - $20

All that being brand new. :)
