I'm a Rookie in overclocking but should like to receive some instruction for a simple way of speeding up my TB 1000. MSI K7T Pro, FOB 38. Is there a way to overclock this system without making modifications to the processor?

If your L1 bridges are closed, it is possible, if not, the only thing you have to do is play around with a pencil on your processor. Many How-To on the home page (seek overclocking Tbird / pencil-trick ). It comes down to connect the bridges with pencil, if you f*ck up, just use an eraser to undo things, simplicity itself!

But if you want to you can also increase FSB, but you won't ge very far, believe me... Mr. Murphy
