I'm trying to get to the 1000mhz mark, but damn its been tough. The Duron 600 is on an Asus AV7. My core its already @ 1.95V. I have a GlobalWIN FOP38 on the CPU. I unlocked my processor by soldering the bridges on the ceramic plate. Right now shes at 100x9.5 but she wont even POST at 100x10. I was trying to up the FSB to 110 or 111 but its very sensitive on the system. Even if I OC the FSB to 103 the system just gets screwy and acts up. Anyone have any suggestions? Do I need more cooling than the FOP38? Should I get better RAM and try again with the FSB? Should I mess with the Cache speed?

I was right were you was and then I changed from a voodoo 3 to a geforce gts and I haven't had any problems. I have run my FSB up to 109 and multiplier set at 10, but I found out it seems to run better at 105/9 . I have been running it at 100/10 all the time stable . temp stays at 46c idle and jumps to 49c under heavy load. I any tried 100/105 and it boots and runs fine but if i turn it off and back on again with no break in between it will get a registary error! .just my 2 cent!

Anything over 105 FSB seems to start becoming unstable, from my experience. Maybe it's just my memory, but I haven't had much success at anything above 105 FSB.

As a matter of fact I do have a voodoo card also. Im thinking of moving on up to a GeForce soon enough. We'll see what happens when I do.
