I have overclocked a few celerons and a P3 before but never an Athlon. I know that you actually have to do some thing with the bridges on the chip, and not just change some pins to a higher speed. I am not extremely advanced but know my way around the inside a PC. Could someone please tell me in DETAIL how to do the job. I am looking to get the thing running at 900 mhz from 800 mhz. My specs are written bellow. Thanks :)

200 mhz system bus
800 mhz Athlon socket CPU
384 megs of ram (3 dims) (2 dims are 133 and 1 is 100)

PS: Could someone also tell exactly what the bridges are and what they do?

It depends what M/B you've got. If you have Abit KT7 or Asus A7V, all you need to do is connect the L1 bridges on your chip. If you have a board that doesn't have jumper/setup options for overclocking the multiplier you need to change other bridges as well. There's a good article on this subject on the web. Check out:
